Vietnamese Bride Customs

Three significant festivities take place at a Vietnamese wedding on the same day. Le dam ngo, the couple’s family’s visit to the princess’s to formally request her hand in marriage, is the first festival. The two people change products and perform rites to represent their coalition.

The following ceremony is a tea and candle ceremony ( le te ). The newlyweds honor their ancestors by drinking teas and asking for blessings for their futures collectively during this time. For the first time, they will also have the opportunity to meet extended family members.

A procession moves to the bride’s home for a reception after the tea and candle festival. The bride may receive a product box stuffed with jewelry from her mother-in-law and will be fully introduced to her fresh family below. In front of their ancient shrines vietnamese beauty girl, the bride and groom’s parents will lose fragrant sticks and offer prayers to their ancestors for the couple’s good health, happiness, and fortune.

The bride and groom don classic Vietnamese attire, known as ao dai, which are available in a range of hues and designs. Their bridesmaids and groomsmen will also utilize ao dai dresses or a less formal type of the same gown, depending on the woman’s desire.
